this privacy policy applies to the Beba - Pregnancy Tracker mobile application ("application"), developed by Beba Team ("service provider"), offered as a freemium service. by using the application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
information collection and use
the application may collect certain information automatically when you download and use it, including:
- your device's ip address
- the screens and features visited within the app
- time and date of your usage
- time spent on each screen and overall app usage
- operating system of your mobile device
in some cases, you may be asked to provide personally identifiable information, such as your email for app-related communication, support, and account management. this information is retained and used only as described in this policy.
personal health and tracking data
sensitive data: Beba collects sensitive personal health information related to your pregnancy. this data is kept strictly confidential and is never shared with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

- estimated due date (to calculate weekly progress)
- weight tracking history
- symptom log entries (e.g., nausea, fatigue, cravings)
- mood tracker entries and sleep quality data
- kick counter and contraction timer session logs
- appointment details (date, time, notes)
- journal entries and uploaded photos (stored on device/cloud backup only)
- hydration and fluid intake logs
how we use this data
- to calculate your current pregnancy week and trimester
- to display personalized baby size and development updates
- to save and restore your tracked metrics and journal data
- to generate personalized reports on symptoms and weight gain for your doctor
- to sync your data across devices (pro users with cloud sync)
- to improve app performance and user experience
- to provide customer support and troubleshooting
journal and photo privacy
journal privacy: your journal entries and personal photos are stored locally on your device by default. they are only backed up to our servers if you are a Beba Pro subscriber and enable the cloud sync feature.
data storage and access
- journal text and photo metadata are encrypted locally
- cloud-synced data is encrypted during transmission and storage
- photos are never viewed by Beba team members unless required for technical support and with your explicit permission
cloud sync (pro feature)
cloud backup: Beba Pro users can enable cloud sync to backup sensitive data across devices.
cloud sync data includes:
- All tracked metrics (weight, symptoms, kicks)
- Journal entries and photos
- Checklist completion status
cloud sync security
- all synced data is encrypted during transmission and at rest
- you control whether cloud sync is enabled
- you can request deletion of cloud-backed data at any time
data security
security measures
we take your privacy seriously and use appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect your sensitive health data, including:
- encryption of data transmission when communicating with our servers
- secure local storage for all personal data
- protection against unauthorized access and data breaches
opt-out rights
you may stop data collection at any time by:
- uninstalling the application using the standard uninstall process
- turning off notifications through device settings
- clearing your saved data and preferences through the app settings
- disabling cloud sync (for pro users)
- contacting us to request data deletion from our servers
data retention

children's privacy
age restriction: Beba is intended for use by adults. we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. if you believe your child has provided personal information, contact us right away.
